Aaron Blazar

Aaron Blazar is a Partner and head of origination at Freedom 3 Capital. He has over 20 years of experience working in investment, strategic consulting, and advisory roles. Mr. Blazar leads Freedom 3’s investment sourcing program and oversees origination, due diligence, investment execution, and portfolio monitoring of F3C’s investments in the telecom and technology sectors.
Mr. Blazar currently serves on the boards of F3C portfolio companies Mereo Fiber and Alaska Communications where he frequently advises management and ownership on strategy, financial discipline, and operational initiatives.
Prior to joining Freedom 3 in 2019, Mr. Blazar provided guidance to a single-family office on investments in digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and technology companies. Previously, he spent more than ten years as a Senior Partner at ATLANTIC-ACM, a Boston-based telecom and technology focused strategy firm. In this role, Mr. Blazar established the firm’s investor advisory practice. He supported both debt and equity investors in transaction evaluation and value creation efforts while also advising business owners, boards and operators on corporate strategy.
Mr. Blazar received his B.A. in economics from Colby College.
